Creating the smart home experience of the future and bringing the Internet of Things into everybody's home. I supported the company's initial market and product launch and worked on a major redesign for the smartphone and tablet app.

Challenge

Smart homes are still perceived by many people as very technical. The task was to make it as easy as possible to get started, while increasing the user base and awareness for the system at the same time.

Outcome

The developed solution focuses on an easy and fast installation process guided by an iOS or Android app. A major redesign of the smartphone and tablet app resulted in a consistent user experience across the two platforms, which has led to a significantly better customer satisfaction and App Store rating.
